We decided a fun family trip would be to head to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and rent some tubes and float the Portneuf River. It was a ton of fun. We had a few scary moments and ended up with some scrapes and bruises and even stitches. In spite of all that, I have a feeling we will be back next year!!

but they sure weren't when they came up for air after tumbling out of their raft when they hit the waterfall. Shannon and I were feeling
like bad mom's for letting them go! What were we thinking????
Brian's head wound..ouch! You can't really see it here,
but you can tell it sure bled alot. 3 stitches!!
Here are the wounded... we had everything from scraped knees, backs, and legs to serious head wounds!!! But we still had fun!?!?!?!
